| 内容記述 | 15 years after the first collecting trip in northern part of Ibaraki prefecture, a follow-up survey was conducted in same villages where land races were collected in the previous exploration. In many villages, some local varieties, which were collected during the previous exploration, had disappeared during last 10 years. With the retirement of aged farmers, seeds of land races were lost. Few land races was transferred from aged farmers to younger generations since they are not interested in traditional crop varieties. Land races are disappearing continuously and rapidly in the northern part of Ibaraki prefecture. It is necessary to complete the collecting land races in unexplored regions as early as possible. | |||||
