| 内容記述 | An exploration for landraces of cereals and buckwheat was undertaken in Oita, Kumamoto and Miyazaki prefectures of Kyushu island in 1996 and 1997. A total of 38 samples were collected. Samples consisted of 20 of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum), 5 of foxtail millet (Setaria italica), 4 of common millet (Panicum miliaceum), 3 of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), 2 of Japanese barnyard millet (Echinochloa utilis), one of job's tear (Coix lacryma-jobi), one of maize (Zea mays), one of azuki bean (Vigna angularis) and one of turnip (Brassica campestris). Buckwheat samples collected in Izumi and Shiiba had small seeds. Most of the millet samples were glutinous. | |||||||||||
