| 内容記述 | Vietnam is located near the center of genetic diversity of cultivated rice (Orza sativa L.). It is recognized that there are four important areas to collect landraces of rice in Vietnam. They are the Northwest region, the sea coast area at the southern part of Central, Western Mekong River Delta and the Central Plateau. We explored to collect landraces of rice in the middle and southern parts of Vietnam, where include three areas of them were aforesaid and were planting rice in winter season because of warm climate, from February 26 to March 21, 1994. The itinerary and the trip route are shown in Table 1 and Fig. 1, respectively. We collected a total of 219 samples of Oryza sativa ,which included 123 of upland rice, 50 cultivated in rainfed paddy field, 11 of floating rice, 30 of deepwater rice and others. Some of these materials collected are glutinous and aromatic varieties (Table 2). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
