| 内容記述 | Eggplant has been cultivated for more than one thousand years and differentiated into various local varieties in Japan. But these local varieties are disappearing rapidly because of the introduction of hybrid varieties. This study was conducted to collect and conserve the local varieties of eggpant in some places of the Tokai and Kinki districts. Twenty-four lines of fifteen local varieties were collected. They are a Kamo-nasu line and two Kokiri-nasu lines in Nara Prefecture, three Shimoda-nasu lines and seven Sugitani-nasu lines in Shiga Prefecture, Kamo-nasu, Yamashina-nasu and Mogi-nasu in Kyoto Prefecture, two Nakamura-nasu lines in Gifu Prefecture, Mizu-nasu in Mie Prefecture, Wase-kitsuta, Shinkuronaga, Oka 11, Kitsuta and Shinkuro-honnaga lines in Aichi Prefecture. | |||||||||||||||||
