A collaborative mission to explore and collect vegetable genetic resources in Laos was conducted from 6 August to 1 September 2008. During this mission, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Udomxai, Luang Namtha, Muang Sing, Muang Khua, Phonsavan, Sam Nuea, and Muang Khoun were surveyed.
