内容記述 Recently it has become to be considered educational essential for children to experience agricultural work in some aspects in Japan. For example, children understand food, farming, and ecosystems through agricultural experience. It is also expected to cultivate children's powers of observation, curiosity, etc. Actually such programs, especially in primary schools, go on increasing in various places.
But programs of agricultural experience for children do not always succeed to get expected educational effects, and teachers in charge have continued trial and error. They need help to know what kind of program can achieve what kind of educational effects.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is:
1. To clarify the educational effects of programs of agricultural experience for children, from questionnaire surveys for teachers.
2. To clarify the relation between way of programs and educational effects.
3. To develop a tool of planning programs of agricultural experience for children.
In conclusion:
1. More than 90% teachers evaluated positively about some effects such as "children get the pleasure of harvest" and "children are interested in nature and life". More than 80% teachers evaluated positively about some effects such as "children are interested in food", "children find the worth of work", and "children get the sense of cooperation".
2. As a result of analysis of variance, way of programs of agricultural experience for children make differences in some aspects of educational effects. Especially "with or without stay in rural area", "with or without farmer's cooperation", and "with or without contact with the environment" make noticeable differences. The program "with stay in rural area" have more effects concerning psychological aspect. The program "with farmer's cooperation" have more effects concerning social life aspect. The program "with contact with the environment" have more effects concerning peoplenature relationship aspect.
3. A tool of planning programs of agricultural experience for children is developed. This tool support teachers planning the programs which achieve expected educational effects. For example, if you expect children will be interested in nature and life, you find that effective program is high frequency, with children's family, not only agricultural work but also contact with the environment.
