| 内容記述 | Contamination with radioactive substances occurred over a wide area centered around Fukushima Prefecture after the accident at Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant that occurred on March 11, 2011. The contamination status was clarified by measuring the concentration of radioactive substances in soil collected from farmland in Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma and Chiba Prefectures, where it is considered that radioactive contamination has occurred; the spatial distribution of such substances was then determined. The concentration of radioactive cesium in Agricultural soil was relatively high in Hama-dori and Nakadori areas in Fukushima Prefecture. There was a positive correlation between the cesium radioactivity in the soil and the air dose rate. The area of agricultural land where the level of cesium radioactivity in soil was estimated to exceed 5,000 Bq/kg oven-dried soil was 8.3 km^2, it mainly (more than 95 %) distributed in evacuation directive zone. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
