：「えみのあき」は、「中部111号（後の「みねはるか」）」を母とし、「奥羽382号（後の「萌えみのり」）」を父とした組合せに由来する品種である。東北農業研究センターにおいて2003年に交配を行い、2015年に品種登録された。育成地における出穂期、成熟期は「ひとめぼれ」並で、寒冷地中部では“中生の晩”に属する。「ひとめぼれ」と比較して、稈長は17～19cm短く、穂長は同程度で、穂数は同程度で、草型は“偏穂数型”である。いもち病真性抵抗性遺伝子型は“Pia、Pii ”と推定される。いもち病圃場抵抗性遺伝子Pi39を持つと推定され、葉いもち圃場抵抗性、穂いもち圃場抵抗性ともに“極強”である。白葉枯病圃場抵抗性は“やや強”である。障害型耐冷性は“強”である。耐倒伏性は“強”である。穂発芽性は“難”である。収量性は標肥移植栽培では「ひとめぼれ」並で、多肥移植栽培や直播栽培では「ひとめぼれ」より多収である。玄米品質は「ひとめぼれ」並である。食味は「ひとめぼれ」並の良食味である。
「えみのあき」は、いもち病圃場抵抗性が強く直播適性の優れる良食味品種であり、良食味米の低コスト安定生産への貢献が期待される。栽培適地は寒冷地中部以南である。

A new rice variety“, Eminoaki,”was developed at the Tohoku Agricultural Research Center in 2013. This variety was selected from a cross between“Chubu111（Mineharuka）”and “Ouu382
（Moeminori）”．“Eminoaki”belongs to the moderate maturity group in the Tohoku region. Its plant type is classified as a semi-panicle-number type. The culm length of“Eminoaki”is obviously shorter than that of“Hitomebore”and its lodging tolerance is strong. “Eminoaki”is estimated to have complete resistance genes to blast, Pia and Pii, and a field resistance gene to blast, Pi39. Its leaf and
panicle field resistances to blast are classified as“very strong.”Its cold tolerance at the booting stage is strong. The grain yield of“Eminoaki”is similar to that of“Hitomebore”under transplanting,
but slightly higher under direct seeding. The grain appearance and eating quality are almost the same as those of “Hitomebore”．
“Eminoaki”is expected to contribute to the low cost production of rice by direct seeding because of its excellent lodging tolerance and high field resistance to blast.“Eminoaki”is considered to be adaptable to the lowland area below the middle of the Tohoku region in Japan.
