During the exploration, 35 samples of soybean (Glycine max), 12 samples of azuki bean (Vigna angularis), 8 samples of kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) and 1 sample of red pepper (Capsicum annuumm) were collected. Landraces of soybean which were collected the most in this mission, showed the diversity on the cropping seasons, colors of beans and usages. Soybeans were used for boiled bean, tofu, miso, edamame and so on.
