We collected 1,209 tea seeds from 20 sites on the island. Almost all the local populations from the Tsushima island are distinguished from another Japanese local populations in floral morphological characters. In the Tsushima's population, the relativeheight of pistil was longer than that of stamens at a high frequency. We can usually find tea plants around the field or on road side.
