The exploration covered northewest areas of Vietnam, and 46 sites were investigated. 145 accessions, including 82 of Solanaceous vegetables, 28 of their wild relatives, 24 of Cucurbitaceae and 10 of Allium spp. were collected. Since Solanaceous vegetables, mainly red pepper and eggplant, were grown as perennial, they showed great genetic variability. The collection time for eggplants which bore long or large fruits was spring, so seeds could not be collected during this mission. We observed that wild relatives of Solanum, such as Solanum torvum and Solanum myriacanthum, grew naturally in many places.}, pages = {173--187}, title = {ベトナム国における野菜遺伝資源の共同調査と収集}, volume = {13}, year = {1997}, yomi = {ヨシダ, タテミ and ワコウ, タダユキ} }
