 note = {Exploration for collecting Miscanthus sacchariflorus in Hokkaido as breeding material for crop biomass production was carried out from July to November in 2011. A total of 71 accessions were collected. Natural populations of M. sacchariflorus were found in riverbeds, road sides, and the side of arable land mainly in central, southern and eastern parts of Hokkaido such as the plains of Ishikari and Tokachi and the Pacific seaboard of Hokkaido.},
