In this study, we investigated the effects of the tankan peal extract and polymethoxyflavones in tankan peal on the allergic reactions. Firstly, allergic cutaneous reaction was reduced in tankan peals orally administered mice. And the treatment of polymethoxyflavones in tankan peals reduced antigen-specific immune responses of splenocytes and degranulation of RBL-2H3 cells.
