酸性デタージェント繊維(ADFom)は結晶性セルロースとリグニンを示す指標とされているが,飼料中のペクチン質が含まれているため過大に評価されている。ADFom をより正確な飼料評価の指標とするため,aNDFom ,ADFom およびADL を連続して分析(連続分析)し,その有用性について検討した。供試試料は,大豆粕,フスマ,脱脂米ヌカ,ビートパルプ,ビール粕,豆腐粕であった。aNDFom およびADL では,常法と連続分析との分析値の差は,それぞれ-0.5 ~ 0.8 パーセントポイント(% P),-0.3 ~ 0.0% P であり,大きな差は認められず,連続分析による分析値は,常法のaNDFom およびADL と同等に扱うことができるものと考えられた。常法よるADFom分析値と連続法によるADFom 分析値(n-ADFom)では,すべての飼料種でn-ADFom が低い値を示した。ビール粕および豆腐粕では,それぞれ4.6,4.3% P の差がみられ,他の飼料でも1.9 ~ 3.2% P の差が認められた。また,製造粕類はADFom 中に残留する粗タンパク質(CP)を多く含むものもあり,残留CP を除外し補正したADFom,n-ADFom についても比較した。残留CP を補正したADFom とn-ADFom の差は,ビール粕および豆腐粕が,それぞれ3.0,3.6% P であり,他の飼料は1.1 ~ 2.8% P の差が認められた。このことからペクチン質が酸性デタージェント溶液(AD 溶液)による加熱処理過程でろ過し難い物質の生成に寄与し,ADFom を過大に評価していることが明らかとなり,連続分析によるn-ADFom
