ゲノム上極めて高度に保存されている領域に変異を有する 3種の酵素については, 野生型酵素の 2倍近い酵素活性が得られた. 野生型酵素及び変異酵素のCDスペクトルを測定した結果, 顕著な差異は見られなかった.
