For appropriate implementation of the stock management, precise deterioration forecast of infrastructure is required. The typical deterioration of irrigation infrastructure is abrasion of reinforced irrigation canals. Deterioration forecast methods for canal abrasion are developed by using soundness index and arithmetic mean roughness (Ra). Deterioration forecast function and Markovian transition probability model are used for forecasting canal abrasion deterioration with soundness index.
