Therefore, it is important to clear the cause of damages generated in agricultural facilities, to specify the mechanism of deterioration, and to select proper repair or reinforce methods.\n In this research, we applied various examinations to base concrete of the drainage pump station, for example, physical test such as unconfined compression test, chemical test such as chloride concentration, electron probe micro analyzer (EPMA), X-ray diffraction, and estimation of harmfulness of aggregate. From the result of these investigations, we judged that the base concrete of the pump station, which located near sea, had compound deterioration. Deterioration was caused by alkali- aggregate reaction because of use of reactiveness aggregate when the pump station was build. Moreover, it was clarified that chloride from the sea was infiltrated into concrete through cracks caused by alkali- aggregate reaction. Using these investigation results, the depth of deterioration by neutralization and infiltration of chloride was
