The development of the method for quantifying multiple functions for that is tried. The one method is to assume the population of beneficiaries of functions to be an index. When the population of beneficiaries is evaluated, it is necessary to clarify a geographic position with the beneficiary who receives the water supply facilities and the function.\n Then, the Sodegaura region in Chiba Prefecture was selected as a case, and the method to estimate the distribution of population in the large area was developed by the technique of the distribution to 100m grid cells in the housing lot where the basic unit district population of the Census had been estimated from the 1/10 subdivision land use of Digital National Land Information. There was a difference between the estimated population distribution by 10m grid cells in matters of detail.
