This research explored the water-purification function of the\nphytoremediation, which is a highly useful agricultural product.\nWe found that the plant's average removal rate for T-N was about 30%, and that for T-P was about 50%. These rates are\nhigh even in comparison with those of other plants used in experiments throughout Japan(T-N, 0% to 30%; T-P, 20% to 50%).\nIn addition, the luffa aegyptiaca is a vine, meaning that if the roots are put into a water channei growth of the vine is not\nliinited by available space, raising the possibility of using light ene叩moreeffectively than other plants.
