大きさや位置の異なる区画内の日射を測定し, 屋外日射と比較した. その結果, 屋外日射に対して施設内に入った日射の割合を示す日射透過率は, 約50 ～ 60％であった. 日射透過率において区画の大きさや南北の位置による大きな違いは確認できなかった. 雲のない晴天日に測定点が骨材などの陰になる場合とそうでない場合に分けて計測したところ, 施設内の光成分は, 散乱光が20％以上, 直達光が60 ～ 70％であった. 施設による日射の減衰は, 10 ～ 15％がフィルムとその留め具によるものであり, 20 ～ 30％が骨材等の構造によるものと推定された. したがって, この施設の日射透過率の向上には,
