In apricot, the rates of stained pollen were generally high, and male sterility was not observed. In the Japanese plum, the rates of stained polen differed among cultivars and selections. Four Japanese plum cultivars showed male sterility. In the European, Myrobalan, and Spinosa pulm, the rates of stained pollen were high, and male sterility was not observed.
