ホウレンソウに含まれる β-カロテンの分光光度計を用いた簡便定量法 A Simple Spectrophotometric Method for the Estimation of β-Carotene Content in Spinach Acetone Extract 永田, 雅靖 ナガタ, マサヤス NAGATA, Masayasu A simple method for the estimation of β-carotene concentration in acetone extracts of spinach was newly developed. The principle of this method depended on the difference in visible absorption spectra of chlorophylls and carotenoids. The concentration of β-carotene can be obtained through the calculation with the absorbances at 479, 645 and 663 nm.
